Born in Detroit, MI and raised in Denver, CO he first honed his musical skills as a classically trained violinist. His diverse style runs the gamut of genres, blending driving basslines, pop hooks, and lush orchestral arrangements, all united by his unmistakable lyricism and vocal tone. Spencer's writing is characterized by an unflinching desire to find the root of himself, exploring themes of queerness, heartbreak, and shared community along the way.
